There are two Apple Stores here.

Both are located in Cotai (路氹城).

A note before you go on, Macau is currently divided into 7 parishes. The two Apple Stores are in Cotai, which is not part of any parishes. It is on a reclaimed land between Taipa and Coloane islands.

Store number 1 is at Cotai Central. It is at Shoppes at Cotai Central.

《유네스코(United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UN교육과학문화기구)는 1972년, 이집트의 아스완 하이 댐 건설로 수몰 위기에 놓인 고대 이집트 문명인 ‘누비아 유적’을 보호하기 위하여 세계 문화 및 자연 유산 보호 협약을 채택하게 되었다. 현재까지 전 세계 197개 국가가 세계유산협약에 가입하여, 인류 보편적으로 탁월한 가치를 지니는 문화, 자연 및 복합 유산에 대한 보호 활동에 참여하고 있다. 이 가운데 선출된 21개국의 대표가 세계유산위원회를 구성하여 매년 새로운 유산의 등재를 최종 승인하는데, 우리나라에도 유네스코에서 지정한 대한민국 명소들이 존재한다.》

Pada tahun 1972, UNESCO mengadopsi Konvensi tentang Perlindungan Warisan Budaya dan Alam Dunia untuk melindungi Puing-puing Nubia, sebuah peradaban Mesir kuno yang hampir tenggelam kare pembangunan Bendungan Aswan. Sampai saat ini, 197 negara di dunia bergabung di konvensi ini, mengambil bagian dalam konservasi warisan budaya, alam, dan kompleks, yang memiliki nilai universal. Delegasi dari 21 negara membentuk Komite Warisan Dunia yang setiap tahun bertugas menyetujui pendaftaran warisan dunia baru. Korea Selatan juga mempunyai landmark warisan UNESCO.

Seokguram dan Kuil Bulguksa di Gyeongju yang dibangun sekitar 1200 tahun yang lalu adalah perwakilan pahatan dan arsiktektur kebudayaan Buddha selama Periode Silla Bersatu.

석굴암은 부처가 깨달음을 얻는 순간을, 불국사는 불법의 세계를 현실 세계에 구현하여 만들어졌다. 석굴암은 자연석을 다듬어 돔을 쌓은 형태의 석굴 사원으로 38구의 불상배치되어 있다. 석굴암의 조각세련된 기법사실적인 표현으로 이루어져 있는데 특히 주실에 있는 거대한 불상 본존불은 얼굴에 띤 미소와 근엄하고 자비로운 표정이 신비로운 동굴의 배경과 잘 어우러져 있다. 신라인이 생각하는 가장 이상적인 부처의 모습을 조각한 것으로 왕실의 안정과 왜구를 물리치려는 신라인의 의지가 전해진다.》

Batu Seokguram adalah tentang pencerahan Buddha. Kuil Bulguksa adalah tentang hal-hal buruk di dunia nyata. Batu Seokguram adalah kuil gua batu dari batu alam yang dibentuk menjadi kubah dan 38 patung Buddha disusun di sana. Pada pahatan Seokguram, terlihat teknik pahat yang berkelas, ekspresi nyata, realistis, khususnya patung Buddha di Jusil yang menggabungkan senyum di wajah Beliau dengan ekspresi hening dan murah hati Beliau serta latar belakangan gua yang misterius. Pahatan terbaik Buddha ini melambangkan stabilnya keluarga kerajaan dan keinginan Silla untuk mengalahkan Jepang.

《또한, 불국사는 화려하면서 정교한 불교 건축과 조각으로 경주의 아름다운 자연환경과 어우러져 있다. 불국사는 석조 기단과 목조 건축이 잘 조화된 고대 사찰 건축으로서 그 가치가 돋보인다. 불교 건축의 기본이자 으뜸이 된 석굴암과 불국사! 유네스코의 세계유산위원회(World Heritage Committee)는 석굴암과 불국사에 대해, 전 세계인이 함께 보호하고 후대에 물려주어야 마땅한 ‘탁월한 보편적 가치’를 지닌다고 평가했다. 옛 신라인들의 창조적인 예술 감각과 뛰어난 기술의 총체이자, 통일 신라 시대 불교문화를 대표하는 건축과 조각으로서 그 가치를 인정받았다.》

Dan juga, Kuil Bulguksa memiliki arsiktektur Buddhisme yang megah dan pahatan yang menyatu dengan lingkungan alam Gyeongju yang indah. Kuil Bulguksa adalah kuil kuno yang yang dasarnya adalah batu dan arsitektur berbahan kayu. Seokguram dan Kuil Bulguksa adalah fondasi dan prioritas utama dalam arsitektur Agama Buddha. Komite Warisan Dunia UNESCO menilai keduanya memiliki nilai universal yang luar biasa yang harus dilindungi bersama-sama dan diwariskan ke generasi berikutnya.

Kuil Haeinsa, di Gunung Gaya mempunyai warisan Agama Buddha di mana-mana. Salah satunya, Aula Janggyeong Panjeon yang merupakan satu-satunya tempat yang menyimpan Tripitaka Koreana yang ditulis pada abad ke-13. Tripitaka Koreana diukir pada papan kayu berisikan kitab suci Agama Buddha. Pada tahun 2007, Tripitaka Koreana dimasukkan dalam Warisan Ingatan Dunia UNESCO karena posisi uniknya dalam sejarah Agama Buddha di dunia.

《종묘는 유교 문화의 조상숭배 사상과 제사 의례를 바탕으로 왕실 주도 하에 엄격한 형식에 따라 지어져 현재에도 조선시대 당시의 원형을 그대로 유지하고 있다. 오늘날까지도 종묘제례라 불리는 제사의례가 행해지고 있는데 종묘제례와, 이 의례를 행할 때 연주되는 종묘제례악은 유네스코의 인류무형문화유산 대표 목록에도 등재되어 있다.》

《2019년 7월, 아제르바이잔의 바쿠에서 개최된 제43차 세계유산위원회에서 ‘한국의 서원’이 세계유산으로 등재되었다. 석굴암과 불국사, 해인사 장경판전, 그리고 종묘의 첫 등재 이후 24년간 우리나라는 11건을 더 등재하여, 이제는 총 14건의 세계유산을 보유하고 있다. 아름다운 정원을 숨긴 ‘창덕궁’, 신라 천 년의 도읍 ‘경주역사유적지구’ 등 13건의 문화유산과 우리나라의 유일한 자연유산 ‘제주 화산섬과 용암동굴’ 등이다.》

Pada bulan Juli 2019, Seowon masuk Situs Warisan Dunia pada pertemuan Komite Warisan Dunia ke-43 di Baku, Azerbaijan. 24 tahun sejak masuknya Seokguram, Kuil Bulguksa, Aula Janggyeong Panjeon di Kuil Haeinsa dan Kuil Jongmyo, Korea Selatan berhasil mencatatkan belasan tempat lagi. Contohnya, Changdeokgung dengan taman indahnya, Kota Bersejarah Gyeongju, dan Pulau Vulkanik dan Pipa Lahar Jeju.

The city is the primary centre of the Fukuoka-Kitakyushu metropolitan area, which is the 4th largest economy in Japan. The city also has its own stock exchange.

《‘홍길동’은 신동헌 감독동생인 신동우 화백이 연재하던 ‘풍운아 홍길동’을 모티브로 개성적인 캐릭터와 모험적인 구성을 더해 애니메이션으로 재탄생했다. 당시 애니메이션은 TV 광고와 같은 단편 영상 위주로 짧게 제작되고 있었는데, ‘홍길동’은 국내 기술로는 처음으로 어린이 장편 애니메이션 작품의 시작이 된다.》

Setelah kesuksesan Hong Gil-dong, film-film animasi menjadi populer sampai pertengahan tahun 1980an. Meskipun ada periode stagnan selama beberapa waktu, karya film animasi yang diangkat dari komik seperti 아기공룡 둘리 – Dooly the Little Dinosaur dan 달려라 하니 mendapatkan minat yang tinggi ketika ditayangkan di TV. 《1883년 9월, 조선의 보빙사절단이 미국도착했다. 전해에 맺어진 조미수호통상조약에 따라 조선에 특명전권공사를 파견한 미국에 대해 답례하고 선진문물도입하기 위한 방문이었다. 뉴욕, 보스턴 등지에서 근대시설과 문물을 시찰하던 보빙사 절단은 에디슨의 회사에도 방문하게 되었다. 에디슨은 1879년에 탄소 필라멘트 전구를 발명한 이후 뉴욕에 전등 회사를 설립해 미국 전역에 전기를 공급하기 위한 기반 시설을 마련하고 있었으며, 보빙사 절단이 방문했을 당시에는 벌써 도심을 중심으로 백열전구가 실용화되어 있던 상태였다.》

King Gojong memerintahkan untuk menyalakan banyak lampu di istana kerajaan agar terang sampai matahari terbit.

수천 년간 밀랍이나 쇠기름으로 만든 초와 호롱 불에 익숙했던 사람들에게 전등의 등장은 가히 충격적이었다. 신기한 장면이 두려운 나머지 숨어서 바라보는 신하들도 있었다. 곧이어 경복궁 안의 연못인 향원정에서 물고기들이 죽은 채 떠오르기 시작하자 공포는 더욱 커졌고, 이유를 알지 못 했던 사람들은 나라가 망할 징조라며 수군거렸다.》

Bagi mereka yang telah terbiasa menggunakan lilin ribuan tahun lamanya, pemandangan lampu pijar itu mengejutkan. Ada juga pelayan-pelayan istana yang ketakutan. Ikan-ikan di kolam juga ada yang mati, ini membuat orang-orang takut dan berbisik bahwa kerajaan dalam kehancuran.

Ikan-ikan mati karena suhu air yang meningkat drastis. Pembangkit listrik menggunakan air untuk mendinginkan mesin. Suara keras yang terdengan itu ada bunyi mesin mengangkat air dari kolam. Baik ketika lampu menyala terang maupun lampu sedang redup, lampu pijar dianggap aneh dan tidak begitu diminati.

Secara mengejutkan di waktu yang kurang tepat, lampu di istana Gyeongbok mati. Penyebabnya adalah meninggalnya William Mackay (윌리엄 맥케이), insinyur yang menjalankan pembangkit listrik. Ia bekerja di perusahaan Edison. Ia ditugaskan membangun pembangkit listrik dan melatih serta membantu warga Joseon dalam hal ini. Dia meninggal karena pistolnya sendiri yang dimanipulasi oleh asistennya. Enam bulan kemudian barulah pembangkit listrik bisa berfungsi kembali.

《고종은 이후 창덕궁에 더 큰 규모의 제2 전등소를 설치하여 창덕궁으로까지 전등을 확대하는 한편, 1898년에는 새로운 산업 진흥 정책을 추진했다. 전기, 수도, 통신의 기반 시설을 구축할 수 있는 한성 전기를 설립하고 동대문에 대규모 발전소를 세워 산업화의 기틀을 닦았다.》

Raja Gojong membangun pembangkit listrik kedua yang lebih besar di istana Changdeok sambil mempromosikan kebijakan industri baru pada tahun 1898. Adalah perusahaan listrik Hanseong yang membangun infrastruktur listrik, telekomunkasi, sumber air di Dongdaemun.

《마침내 1900년 4월 10일, 종로에 설치된 가로등 3개에 전기가 들어왔다. 이제 전등이 궁궐이 아닌 백성들의 거리를 밝히게 된 것이다. 이어 1901년에는 진고개(충무로)에 600개의 전등이 보급되어 조선의 밤을 환하게 밝혔다. 전기와 전등이라는 새로운 문물이 그렇게 점차 사람들의 삶 속으로 파고들었다. 조선 말기의 혼란스러운 시대상황 속에서 전등 점화는 그저 신기한 구경거리가 아니라 변화를 알리는 신호탄이었던 것이다.》

Doodle adalah perubahan logo dalam rangka memperingati suatu hari atau kejadian spesial. Doodle jika dibahasa Indonesiakan bisa disebut orat-oret.

Pada tahun 1998, 2 pendiri Google pertama kali membuat orat-oret pada logo perusahaan mereka itu. Kemudian, pada tahun 2000, logo Google semakin sering diorat-oret.

Sejauh ini, telah lebih dari 4000 Doodle yang dibuat. Yang merancang orat-oret ini tidak hanya karyawan Google, namun juga banyak dihasilkan dari kompetisi membuat orat-oret yang diselenggarakan oleh Google.

Orat-oret ini pun tidak semata-mata memperingati hal-hal yang penting atau berkaitan dengan Amerika Serikat. Namun, kini di tiap-tiap negara di mana Google hadir, orat-oret Google juga mengikuti. Seperti contohnya, memperingati hari Kemerdekaan Indonesia, tokoh penting dari Meksiko, festival yang ada di Jepang, dan lain-lain.

There are 20 Apple Stores in all of France. First, let’s start with some administrative stuff. Correct me if I am wrong.

France is divided into 18 Regions (13 are in Europe and 5 are elsewhere). The Regions are divided into Departments. Departments are numbered, each of them is given a number, alphabetically, meaning that they are arranged based on the first letter of the department’s name. So, departments with A as the first letter get the lowest numbers. Then again, some of their names change over time and the numbers do not.

Hence, adjacent numbers do not necessarily mean that the departments are in the same region. Below Departments, there are Arrondissements, Cantons, and Communes. Among them all, we are just going to talk about Region, Department, and Commune here. Cities usually are communes with more than 20,000 inhabitants.

A few more things to note: Prefectures are the capitals, where the administration of a department or a region is located. Subprefectures are like the second-capitals of a department or a region.

Store number 1 is in Aix-en-Provence. It is a city in southern France, about 30 km north of Marseille. This commune is the subprefecture of Bouches-du-Rhône Department, which is located in the Region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur or Région Sud. This region’s economy is the third-largest in France, while the department is the most populous in this region. The commune is part of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis.

Store number 2 is at Sainte-Catherine in Bordeaux. Rue Sainte-Catherine is the main shopping street in Bordeaux. The commune is the prefecture of the Gironde Department and also of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, which is the largest region in France by area. The commune is part of Bordeaux Métropole.

Store number 3 is at La Toison d’Or in Dijon. The commune is the prefecture of Côte-d’Or Department and also of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region (together with Besançon). It is part of Dijon Métropole.

Lyon is the prefecture of both Lyon Metropolis (which has jurisdiction as both a department and a métropole) and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region. The region is the third-largest by area in metropolitan France and the second-biggest by number of population.

Store number 12 is at CAP 3000 in Nice. Actually, the shopping mall is not located in Nice per se, but is located in Saint-Laurent-du-Var (another commune). This commune is the second-largest suburb of Nice. Both communes are in Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur. They are also situated in the same Department (Alpes-Maritimes, of which Nice is the prefecture) and Region (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur).

More about Nice, it is the seventh-most populous urban area in France. Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region after Marseille. Nice is about 13 km from Monaco and 30 km from the French-Italian border. Its airport is the third busiest in France, behind two Parisian ones.

Store number 13 is at Champs-Élysées in Paris. It is the capital city and the most populous city of France. It is a commune and a department in itself. It is the prefecture of Île-de-France, or Paris Region. Champs-Élysées itself is an avenue in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Arc de Triomphe is on one end of this avenue. Élysée Palace, the official residence of the French President is located in this arrondissement.

Store number 14 is still in Paris. It is at Marché Saint-Germain. It is located in the 6th arrondissement. It is also called Luxembourg. It is the seat of the French Senate.

Store number 15 is in Paris as well. It is at Opéra. It is in the 9th arrondissement. The arrondissement itself is called Opéra. Groupe Danone, BNP Paribas, Gameloft, and Google Paris has offices here.

Store number 16 is at Les Quatre Temps in Puteaux – la Defense. Puteaux itself is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, about 8.7 km from the center of Paris. Hence, the commune is not part of the Paris Department, but still in Île-de-France, or Paris Region and in Métropole du Grand Paris. Puteaux is situated in Hauts-de-Seine Department.

La Défense is Europe’s largest purpose-built business district. It spreads over four communes, two-thirds are in Puteaux.

Store number 17 is at Rosny 2 in Rosny-Sous-Bois. It is a commune in the eastern suburbs of Paris. It is about 10.1 km from the center of Paris. The commune is part of Métropole du Grand Paris and Île-de-France or Paris Region, but not part of Paris Department. It is part of Seine-Saint-Denis Department.
