☆Let’s start with the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Here, there is one Apple Store in Canberra.
As you all know, Canberra is the capital of Australia. It is 280 km southwest of Sydney, NSW and 660 km northeast of Melbourne, VIC. Canberra Centre, opened in 1963 is the first store in the country to have three floors.
☆Moving to New South Wales, here there are nine Apple Stores.
First one is in Bondi Junction, NSW. It is an eastern suburb of Sydney, located about 6 km east of Sydney CBD. Bondi Junction is located in a Local Government Area (LGA) called Waverley Council.
Unlike in Canada or in the USA, there is only one level of local government in each state of Australia, with no distinction such as cities and counties.
Second one is in Broadway, NSW. It is a 700-m road in Sydney. It is an urban locality. It is located in the LGA of City of Sydney, the second-oldest local government authority in Australia, behind City of Adelaide. So, City of Sydney is one of 31 LGAs that make up Sydney.
Store number 3 is at Castle Towers in Castle Hill, NSW. Castle Hill is a suburb split between LGAs of The Hills Shire and Hornsby Shire. The shopping complex is owned by the Queensland Investment Corporation which in turn is owned by the Queensland Government.
Store number 4 is in Charlestown, NSW. It is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie.
Store number 5 is at Chatswood Chase in Chatswood, NSW. It is about 10 km north of the Sydney CBD. It is the administrative centre of the LGA of City of Willoughby.
Store number 6 is in Hornsby, NSW. It is about 19 km northwest of the Sydney CBD. It is the administrative centre of the LGA of Hornsby Shire.
Store number 7 is in Miranda, NSW. It is 24 km south of the Sydney CBD. It is located in the LGA of Sutherland Shire.
Store number 8 is in Penrith, NSW. It is 50 km west of the Sydney CBD. It is the administrative centre of the LGA of City of Penrith.
Store number 9 is in Sydney, NSW. It is located on George Street, one of the busiest streets in Sydney CBD. A lot of ASX-listed companies are located here.
☆Moving on to Queensland. There are four Apple Stores here.
Store number 1 is in the Brisbane CBD, QLD. It is located in MacArthur Chambers.
Store number 2 is in Carindale, QLD. It is a suburb of the City of Brisbane. It is located 10 km east of the CBD.
Store number 3 is in Chermside, QLD. It is a suburb of the City of Brisbane, located just 9 km north of the city. The shopping centre is the largest in Australia by number of stores.
Store number 4 is in Robina, QLD. It is a suburb in the City of Gold Coast. The LGA is the second-most populous in Australia. Robina Town Centre is the second-largest shopping centre in the City of Gold Coast.

Store number 3 is in Doncaster, VIC. It is located 16 km northeast of the Melbourne CBD. Its LGA is the City of Manningham.
Store number 4 is in Fountain Gate, VIC. It is located in Narre Warren in the LGA of the City of Casey. It is a suburb of Melbourne. It is the second largest shopping centre in Australia by floor area.
Store number 5 is at Highpoint in Maribyrnong, VIC. It is a suburb, 8 km northwest of Melbourne. Its LGA is the City of Maribyrnong.
