It’s been a long time since I last updated my blog. Let me recall, my last post here was about two books on scholarships and then date a girl who reads. I want to sincerely thank all of you who have read the articles I posted here.

Well, if you ever wondered (although I doubt it) why this blog seems dead, I will give you the reasons:

This is the list (non-exhaustive)

– I got tangled up with deadlines for my articles
– I was trying to improve my French again
– I was struggling to start learning German, especially speaking
– I was a bit unsure whether to go for the Esperanto conference

those are basically my reasons.

For now, I am going to post something about some old songs that I’ve been listening to.

First is “For No One” by the Beatles in their album Revolver. It is not my first time listening to the Beatles’ songs, but I especially like this one, it’s one of those songs where the singer is using second person narrative point of view, if you notice that there is no “I” word, only “you” and “she” are used. It has quite a simple tune, I would really love to write an article about the Beatles one day, if my magazine permits. hehe

Second is “Strawberry Wine” by Deana Carter, a female singer from Nashville, TN, the music city of the US, where Taylor Swift used to spend her days living there. It’s my very first time listening to this country chanteuse. Love it when this song reaches the chorus.

Next one is this song called “In Front of the Alamo” by Hal Ketchum, another country singer. I don’t know, but I think I have a penchant for country music.

Last one is Don Henley’s “The End of the Innocence”. Love the lyrics and the rhythm. Two thumbs up.

Listen to those songs, if you have time. ^^
